Window Watchers

bat-beth

They see you when you’re sleeping,

They hunt you while you wake.

Every window’s where they’re watching,

Every shadow their hiding place.

With eyes like embers,

With teeth, broken and sharp.

They find you when you’re alone,

And then they take your heart.
